Jaydian was only four years old when he started breakdance lessons through The Floor is Yours. The lessons are paid for by the Youth Sports & Culture Fund. Mother Hari is happy with it and talks about it openly. “Poverty must be out of the taboo sphere.”
“It's quite difficult to explain why Jaydian “I love breakdancing so much,” says mother Hari. “I have a video of him as a two-year-old already fanatic was dancing. It was already clear that he had a thing for music and dance. He was four years oldn we Unpleasant a trial lesson breakdance by Lucas Winkel wentand. He liked it so much that we immediately registered him for The Floor is Yours. When the lessons last warun, is he continued to the regular breakdance lessonn from Lucas.”
He comes alive immensely
Hari pays the lessons with the help of the Youth Fund Sport & Culture. “I work in debt counseling,” tells they. “The debt counselor saw how important the lessons for Jaydian are and has the application to the fund for us regularly. It is also important to me that Jaydian I can do this. I see how he's developing and how much fun he's having. I once told him it might not be possible anymore. because of the costs. Big tears because this is what he loves to do most. That's why I'm very happy that it's possible. I see how cool he is when he dances; he really comes alive. It's so good for his self-confidence. The lessons are more than a fun hobby."
Rest
Hari sits in debt counseling. "In two years, I'll be completely debt-free. It's tough being in this program; we get a weekly allowance, and that's really tight. Sometimes we don't know if we'll make it through that week. But the idea that I'll be debt-free in two years gives me a lot of peace of mind."I am becoming very useful for getting by on little money"," laughs Hari. "I know exactly when the discount stickers go on the meat and vegetables at the local supermarkets. It really makes a difference if you do a quick check. My administrator also helps me sort out the special offers."
Out of the taboo sphere
“II think it is important that poverty is removed from the taboo sphere,” says Hari. “Like this sit I in a Facebook group for people with limited income. We support each other, give tips on offers or how to deal with agencies, and you can ask questions to each other ask. It's very open. Actually, I want that openness not only on Facebook, but also outside. That also neighbors something so important know each other, dan kun you each other Help. Maybe someone has some children's clothes or shoes lying around, you can there another help instead of throwing it away or taking it to the thrift storen. Poverty would be much better negotiable must are."
