Projects in the neighborhood

The Youth Fund is entering the neighborhood with trial lessons! Children and young people can experience various sports and cultural activities at Cultuur@CruyffCourts, Panna Knock Out, FC Straat, and Wereldgozers-Wereldmeiden.

By reaching out to children and young people in their own neighborhoods, we make it easier to take trial lessons in dance, music, soccer, and other sports. The goal of the lessons is to have fun together and introduce them to various sports and cultural activities.

Panna Knock Out

Panna Knock Out, a global platform for panna and street football, is run by and for street footballers. The goal is to share the joy of street football. Together with Panna Knock Out, we organize tournaments throughout the country.

In the Netherlands, former world street football champion and our ambassador Nasser El Jackson is closely involved with Panna Knock Out and the Youth Fund.

Participation is free. We hope children enjoy participating so much that it motivates them to choose a club afterward. Being part of a club is fun and beneficial for children. They learn all sorts of skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. If there's no money for a club at home, we'll pay for it.

World Guys-World Girls

With Wereldgozers-Wereldmeiden (WG-WM), young people with refugee backgrounds are introduced to a range of sports activities. They participate in trial lessons in 10 different sports for 10 weeks. They then "try out" at the club of their favorite sport, ultimately enabling them to participate regularly. This is all done with sports buddies from community service programs (MDT).

FC Street Play-offs

The FC Straat play-offs, the largest street football tournament in the Netherlands, are an initiative of FC Straat, the Cruyff Foundation, and the Krajicek Foundation. The Youth Fund is a proud supporter of the project, because every child deserves to participate, whether on the pitch or at a club.

Girls and boys in the under-13 and under-15 age categories can participate in the preliminary rounds. The winning teams advance to regional finals at various locations throughout the country.

If they win this regional final, they'll have a chance to win a spot in the coveted FC Straat League. Together, we'll make sure everyone can participate!

Culture@CruyffCourts

With Cultuur@CruyffCourts, we're organizing cultural and creative activities at Cruyff Courts in collaboration with the Johan Cruyff Foundation. Children can have a blast here. Whether it's football or vlogging, tennis or rapping, Cultuur@CruyffCourts gives children and young people the opportunity to discover what they enjoy during a series of trial lessons.

Cruyff Courts are a safe meeting place where children experience solidarity, make friends, discover their own talents and learn to deal with winning and losing.
