No money for music lessons or an instrument? Take action!
If there's not enough money at home for lessons or an instrument, the Youth Sports & Culture Fund helps with (a contribution to) the tuition. Of course, to make music, you need an instrument. No problem! Through "Take it!", parents can borrow an instrument for free from the Instrumentendepot Leerorkest.
Almost all instruments are available for loan: violin, guitar, drums, flute, harp, cello, bassoon, trumpet—too many to list. We can't offer a real piano yet, but we can offer a keyboard. Already taking music lessons and need a different or better instrument? That's possible too! NB: Borrowing an instrument is always done in combination with music lessons through the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture.
