Youth Fund at Sports Café in Drunen

The De Schroef Foundation held its annual Sports Café on October 26th, a meeting place for sports and exercise providers, healthcare professionals, social organizations, and businesses. Monique Valk, coordinator of the Brabant Youth Fund for Sports & Culture, was in attendance.

The foundation believes it's important that sports and exercise are accessible and accessible to everyone. The community sports coaches achieve this by, among other things, designing and implementing exercise activities, offering personal guidance, organizing networking events, and acting as an intermediary for the Brabant Youth Fund for Sports and Culture.

The theme of the Sports Café was "Sports Today." The De Schroef Foundation recognizes that people want to exercise more freely. The rise of e-sports and interactive exercise is creating a more diverse sports environment, attracting new target groups. Attendees were able to try out various forms of gaming and interactive exercise, among other things.

During the drinks reception, there was an opportunity to speak with the neighborhood sports coaches. The intermediary for the Brabant Youth Sports & Culture Fund, neighborhood sports coach Sebastiaan Verweijen, was also present. He and Monique Valk answered questions about the fund.
