The Floor is Yours starts in Utrecht

The Floor is Yours Utrecht is a series of 11 breakdance lessons for children in Utrecht. The lessons are held at the ZIMIHC Stefanus Theatre in Overvecht every Wednesday afternoon from October 23rd to January 15th at 3:00 PM. Lessons are free, but children must register in advance.

The Floor is Yours classes in Utrecht are taught by instructor Raymond den Uijl of IRC. All children aged 6 to 12 are welcome! The classes are a great way to get acquainted with breakdance. They also prepare children for a real dance battle.

Come to the battle!
Part of The Floor is Yours is the City versus City dance battle, organized by the Dutch Breakdance League (NBL). Here, participants are introduced to the competitive element of breakdance. In a battle, students from each city will showcase all the moves they've learned during the lessons. An expert jury of dance instructors will determine the winning crew. Students will also see breakdancers from all over the Netherlands perform and learn new moves. The dance battle will take place on November 16th in 's-Hertogenbosch.

Youth Culture Fund
The Floor is Yours has been organized twice a year since 2017 by the Youth Culture Fund, Mad Skills, and the Dutch Breakdance League. The classes give children the opportunity to dance and be part of a group. Classes are held at 11 different locations throughout the Netherlands.
