Release maximum amounts

We'll be launching a pilot program on May 1, 2022. From that point on, we'll reimburse the actual membership fee/tuition amounts instead of a maximum amount per application. More information about this important change can be found below.
To encourage children's participation, especially now, after all the COVID-19 issues, the board of the North Holland Youth Fund for Sports and Culture has decided to reimburse actual membership fees/tuition starting May 1, 2022. This is possible this year thanks to additional national funding. Since this is a pilot program, this adjustment will initially apply until December 2022, provided the budget is sufficient.
That is why we are calling on people to apply from now on for what the child actually needs to carry out the activity for a year.
Rules regarding this pilot
- The new policy only applies to sports and cultural applications, not to swimming lesson applications. We already have separate agreements in place for swimming lessons in almost all cases.
- It is not possible to submit a sports and cultural application at the same time, unless this is already permitted in the municipality in question.
- The maximum amount for the vouchers remains the same, namely 100 euros.
- We will not be reimbursing expensive memberships etc. for unlimited exercise/lessons, but will instead adhere to the guideline of exercising/lessons twice a week.
- If you submitted an application in 2022 that actually required a higher contribution, you can let us know by May 31, 2022. We can then adjust the application if necessary.
- This scheme is only for applications submitted in 2022 and as long as our additional budget is sufficient.
