Over €18,000 raised at NGF Family Tournament

This year, we once again received a generous check from the participants of the annual family tournament of the Royal Dutch Golf Federation, the NGF Family Tournament. Ambassador Marianne Vos accepted the check on behalf of the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture. This year, the proceeds were €18,726.10. This amount allows another 75 children to participate in sports and cultural activities.

Marianne Vos: "Sports have been my passion and my life since I was young; I couldn't and wouldn't want to live without them. It's always been possible for me to play the sports I wanted, but of course, that's not always a given. Sports connect, motivate, and stimulate; I see it as an essential pillar in a child's development, both physically and personally. As an ambassador, I'm therefore thrilled with the NGF's contribution and want to sincerely thank all the participants in the NGF Family Tournament."

I'm thrilled with this contribution. It will allow even more children to participate in sports.

All children should be able to play sports

Since early 2016, the fund has been linked to the annual tournament, and in 2020, the proceeds will again benefit children growing up in poverty. The NGF helps the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture to give as many children as possible the opportunity to do what's important to them, including golf. Thanks to the proceeds from the NGF Family Tournament even more children can participate!
