Introducing: new board member Melissa Renken

Melissa Renken has been a board member of the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture Almere since September 19th. She would like to introduce herself:

Hello everyone,

My name is Melissa Renken, I'm 29 years old, and I've called vibrant Almere my home for five years now. As the mother of three beautiful children, my heart is deeply connected to this city and its community.

My personal journey has taken me down several paths, one of which was my own experience with the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture. During challenging times, this fund offered me the support I needed. Now, as a board member of the Youth Fund Almere, my mission is to create the same opportunities for children who need a little extra help.

Within the board of the Jeugdfonds Almere, I use my skills to promote effective communication. I strongly believe in the power of clear messages and targeted design to reinforce our mission.

Together, we strive for an Almere where every child has the opportunity to discover and develop their passions. Let's build a future full of possibilities and opportunities for our city's youth.
