Hundreds of children run through the streets of Amsterdam
On October 20th, the Echo Mini Marathons kicked off in collaboration with the TCS Amsterdam Marathon and Le Champion. At 9:45 AM, the first children set off for this annual marathon at Amstelpark (South district). Later, several hundred more enthusiastic children ran a kilometer starting at Galileïplantsoen (East district). In the afternoon, another three hundred children, starting at Olympiaplein (South district), reached the finish line.
Each child contributed €1. The total raised was a fantastic €724.40. The Amsterdam Youth Sports Fund thanks all participants and parents for this fantastic day.
The children in the photo do not use the Jeugdfonds Sport Amsterdam.
