Donations were made entirely digitally via the personal My Youth Fund Action Page from the school.

The enormous effort put in by the students, teachers, and all the school staff was evident today when the amount raised through this campaign was announced. The principal of St. Joseph Primary School, Maurice van de Lisdonk, along with three students from the upper grades—Floor, Feline, and Merijn—presented a check for €5,561 to Thea Kremers of the Breda Youth Sports & Culture Fund.

Participate
St. Joseph's Primary School believes it's important that every child has the opportunity to participate in activities that their peers take for granted. As many as 1 in 9 children and young people in Breda grow up in a family without the means to join a sports club or take creative classes. Fortunately, these children and young people can turn to the Breda Youth Sports & Culture Fund. They cover the membership fees and tuition fees, as well as any necessary equipment, for children and young people aged 2 to 18.

Playing sports or expressing yourself creatively isn't just fun; it's also important. Children learn to work together, cope with winning and losing, and acquire all sorts of skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. This boosts their self-confidence and makes them feel better about themselves. This benefits the child, the class, the neighborhood, and ultimately society as a whole!
