Free exercise package for 185 families in Haarlemmermeer

In Haarlemmermeer, 185 families will receive a free exercise package for children aged 4 to 18 during the week of April 20, 2020. The packages are for families who applied to the Youth Sports & Culture Fund last year. The initiator, Team Sportservice, hopes that these packages will encourage exercise at home.

Due to coronavirus restrictions, many children are currently receiving their education from home. Physical education is also part of the curriculum and is currently being conducted in the living room or garden. Using various sports and play equipment is important, but not every family has the resources for this. This free exercise package is made possible by Team Sportservice Haarlemmermeer, Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur, and Bronsport, which provides the equipment to Team Sportservice at a reasonable price.

Balls, sidewalk chalk and badminton

The kits contain a variety of sports equipment, such as balls of various sizes, a badminton set, balloons, sidewalk chalk, and elastic bands. The family also receives a booklet with activity cards. These cards contain rules and fun variations for playing the games, either together or alone. The equipment is useful for gym class at school, but of course also for playing at home or in the garden.

Online exercise classes
