European Championship qualifying match shirts auctioned for Youth Fund

Great news! The Dutch national team shirts from the next six European Championship qualifiers will be auctioned off, with the proceeds going to the Youth Fund. 

'To do what your heart desires'

Captain Virgil van Dijk: "I don't have to tell anyone how important it is for children to get moving. Besides that, club membership is also important for their personal development. In a team, you learn to respect each other, to do things for each other, to persevere when things get tough, to deliver. And what could be better than doing what you're passionate about, what you truly enjoy?"

Director Petra Bosman is pleased with the Oranje internationals' initiative: "Every child deserves to participate and belong to a club. We're thrilled that the Oranje internationals thought of us and want to donate the proceeds from this auction to our fund!"

Bids can be placed on the Orange shirts via MatchWornShirt.comThe first auction starts Thursday, September 7, at 8:45 PM during the Netherlands-Greece kickoff. The auction ends Sunday, September 10, at 3:00 PM. The kickoff of the second auction coincides with the first whistle of the match on Sunday, September 10. The match against Ireland kicks off in Dublin at 8:45 PM (Dutch time). The auction closes Sunday, September 17, at 3:00 PM.

In the spring of 2021 we also received a nice donation on behalf of Snelle, the Dutch national team and the KNVB.
