Cultuur@CruyffCourts made possible by contributions from the VriendenLoterij and partners

Thanks to the generous contributions from the Friends Lottery, the Cultural Participation Fund, LKCA, and Iktoon, we can launch Cultuur@CruyffCourts together with the Cruyff Foundation. We are thrilled with these wonderful contributions!
With Cultuur@CruyffCourts, we offer children and young people from disadvantaged neighborhoods the opportunity to experience cultural activities. Many parents, children, and young people consider culture abstract and far-fetched. By demonstrating at the Cruyff Courts that rapping, DJing, dancing, and vlogging are also cultural activities, the program becomes tangible and accessible. This lowers the barrier to regular participation in local cultural providers for children from disadvantaged families.
It's crucial that children and young people from low-income families have access to accessible sports and creative activities. Simply because this contributes to their development. By doing something they enjoy with peers, children learn what they like and gain insight into who they are and what they value. They also become more connected and attached to the community where they dance, make music, or play sports.
Collaboration between Cruyff Foundation and Youth Fund Sports & Culture
Both the Cruyff Foundation The Youth Fund for Sport & Culture is familiar with getting children and young people active close to home. With Cultuur@CruyffCourts, we're pooling our experience to bring culture to the popular Cruyff Courts.
