Board member Piet-Hein van Herk received a generous donation on Tuesday, July 5, from the Utrecht cycling club De Gierende Banden.
The men's cycling team for friends have enthusiastically dedicated themselves to the Utrecht Youth Sports & Culture Fund over the past six months. By raising birthday money and organizing a cycling tour for family and friends, the club exceeded their own expectations. A total of €2,253 was raised. A fantastic amount that we are very happy with.
Founder Sierk de Jong: “We wanted to do something for the children in Utrecht. Sports brought us together as a club, and friendships were formed here. That's something every child deserves. Fun, exercising together, and being healthy too!”
