Breakdance project The Floor is Yours has started again!

'The Floor is Yours' is a series of ten breakdance lessons given at various locations in the Netherlands, giving children the opportunity to dance and be part of a group. The Floor is Yours has been organised twice a year by the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture, Mad Skills and the Dutch Breakdance League.

All children between the ages of 6 and 12 are welcome! The lessons are an excellent way to get acquainted with urban dance. The cost for the entire series of dance lessons is €25. If parents are unable to pay for the lessons, the Youth Fund for Sports and Culture will cover the tuition.

Come to the battle!

Part of The Floor is Yours is the City versus City dance battle as part of an event of the Dutch Breakdance League (NBL). The battle will take place on Saturday, November 16th in Den Bosch. Participants will be introduced to the competitive element of breakdance. In a battle, students from each city will showcase all the moves they've learned during the series of lessons. An expert jury of dance instructors will determine the season's winner. Students will also see breakdancers from all over the Netherlands perform and learn new moves.
