Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur Haarlem/ Zandvoort

Does your child want to take swimming lessons or participate in sports? Or join a cultural club where they can sing, dance, or do crafts? If you're (temporarily) short on cash, we'll pay! We also help if they need supplies, shoes, or clothing.

What? A club of their choice. A child may choose one sport and one cultural activity. If the child takes swimming lessons, they may also apply for one additional sport or cultural activity.

Who? For children living in Haarlem or Zandvoort between the ages of 4 and 18, who have a Haarlem pass/Zandvoort pass or whose parents/guardians receive healthcare allowance from the Tax Authorities'

When? The child can start all year round. An application is always for one year.

How? The parent/guardian arranges registration with the club and submits the application; we pay the club directly. Sometimes we can also provide a gift certificate for a store that can be used to purchase items, clothing, and shoes.

Amount? Look in our rules for our reimbursements. Sometimes parents/guardians have to pay extra.

For parents

Would you like us to pay for your child's club? You can do two things:

  1. You can arrange it yourself. You submit a single application for all your children (aged 4 to 18). In addition to sports, swimming lessons, or cultural activities, you can also apply for a laptop, a bicycle, a birthday box, glasses, tutoring, or homework assistance. Go to Sam&'s website for all children and fill out the form.
  2. Ask for help at school or from the social neighborhood team. Look here which organization can help you with your application. Do you have any questions? Then please contact come with us.

For professionals

Want to help a child participate in a regular sports or cultural activity? There are two ways to do this:

  1. You assist parents/guardians and submit an application together with them via the website of our collaborative organization Sam& for all childrenThis route allows multiple applications to be submitted at once for multiple children in the family.
  2. You sign up here as Youth Fund More powerAs an intermediary, you'll be the family's support and confidant. After registering, you can log in to our portal and submit an application there.

For clubs

Do you offer structured sports lessons, creative lessons, or swimming certificates? Together with the Haarlem Youth Fund for Sports and Culture, you can offer opportunities to children and young people who are less fortunate at home.
