Got some leftover sneakers? Turn them in

Having good sports shoes is essential for carefree sports and exercise. Despite support from the Youth Sports & Culture Fund and other foundations, there isn't always enough money to cover the cost of sports shoes. Shoes are expensive, and children quickly outgrow them. That's why we're collaborating on a sustainable basis!

We're collaborating with HATKA: the Haarlem Alliance Against Child Poverty. This intensive collaboration with community partners has resulted in a fundraising campaign for sports shoes!

Do you have any nice shoes lying around? Drop them off at Jopenkerk Haarlem, Royal HFC, Haarlem Choir School, St. Bavo Cathedral Music Institute, Mennonite Church, De Ringvaart Community Center, De Wijde Wereld Primary School, De Mariakerk, De Dreef School, Juliana School (Overveen), De Bosbeek School (Santpoort-Noord), and Joseph School (Bloemendaal).

Starting August 1st, the shoes will be offered for free at De Papegaai Playground in Haarlem-Oost, thanks to Mariska van Zeeland, who manages this pop-up giveaway shop.
