Large donation Lions Club Waalwijk
Lions Club Waalwijk is a very active and generous service club. At the end of March – before the RKC-Heerenveen match – we received a generous check from them for €7,831. The Samen RKC Foundation, the social arm of the football club, received a similar contribution.
The money was raised by the Lions Club Waalwijk through the sale of Sinterklaas cake and by organizing the wine tasting "The 60 Wines of the Langstraat."
At the invitation of the Lions and the Samen RKC Foundation, over 100 primary school students from Waalwijk attended the match. All children received a goodie bag with healthy snacks, an RKC keychain, and a handy water bottle from the Youth Fund.
