Youth Fund Sports & Culture and Danoontje
On June 1, 2022, International Children's Day, marked the start of a long-term collaboration between the Youth Fund and Danoontje.
Danoontje wants to help children grow up healthy and happy. That's why they support our fund in various ways. In addition to the PowerrrActie, Danoontje made us a generous initial donation. This allows us to help 100 children secure a year-long membership in their favorite sports or cultural club. At Danoontje, they believe that healthy food isn't the only factor important for children's development. All children should have the opportunity to join a club and develop emotionally, socially, and physically, while also having fun. This way, every child can have the chance to shine! With this in mind, Danoontje has joined forces with the Youth Fund.
In addition, they are taking a particularly impactful initiative:
- In 2022, they donated €169,744. This amount allows 522 children to join their favorite sports or cultural club for a year.
- In March and October 2023, they will again donate 10% of their Danoontje turnover to us!
Constanza, Senior Brand Manager at Danone: “In the coming years, we will use the 'Powerrr' of my colleagues and our brand to support the Youth Fund in this.” That starts on June 1st with the PowerrrAction. "By contributing, they'll hopefully become even more aware that sports and culture are important to everyone. And of course, it will be an unforgettable and fun afternoon."
