School campaign Every Child Can!
You care about children. You know how important it is that everyone has equal opportunities. But that's not always the case. Not every child can participate in soccer, judo, dance, or music. And yet that's so important—especially now! We want to change that. So that every child can learn to win and lose, move, make friends, and gain self-confidence.
The coronavirus pandemic has changed a lot. The number of families facing financial difficulties is growing. Children are also feeling the pressure and tension. Especially now, an outlet—like a soccer field—would be welcome. There, they can express their emotions and find distraction.
But not every family has the money for that. On average, there are two to three children in every class who can't afford a soccer club, gymnastics, or singing, dancing, or music lessons. We believe—just like you—that every child should have the opportunity to join a sports club or participate in a cultural activity. So that every child can learn to dance. Every child can learn gymnastics. Every child can learn to perform, score, work together, and persevere. We can help by paying the membership fee or tuition. That way, we really make a difference!

Sharon Doorson
We know Sharon Doorson from Popstars, The Voice of Holland, and Dance Dance Dance, among others. For a few months now, she's had her own singing school in Almere: Talentcrib! With this singing school, she wants to show young people that they can achieve anything they want, as long as they dare to believe in their own talent.
Sharon Doorson: "As an ambassador for the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture Almere, I hope to give something back to young people. It's so important to encourage young people to believe in themselves. Whether it's through sports or culture, it doesn't matter. I fully support the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture's initiative to help children develop themselves, and I'm happy to contribute."

Remy Bonjasky
Remy Bonjasky is a former kickboxer. He was introduced to combat sports at seventeen. Since then, he has won several major awards. In 2003, 2004, and 2008, he won the coveted K-1 World Grand Prix title.
In 2010, Remy opened the Bonjasky Academy in Almere to give everyone the opportunity to engage responsibly in the sport and learn to master kickboxing professionally. Remy has developed a special program for young people, the Champs Program. Many children from the Youth Sports & Culture Fund train at the Bonjasky Academy. As an ambassador for the "Every Child Can" campaign, Remy contributes to the lives of Almere's children.

We can do it again!
We're finally allowed to play sports again! Outdoor sports are possible again without having to maintain a distance of one and a half meters. Competitions are still on hold. Unfortunately, indoor sports are not permitted until at least April 20th. We hope this will be possible again soon, so children can enjoy some exercise again!
We've seen a growing number of requests for cultural activities lately. We're thrilled about this! We hope to see many more requests in the near future.
Do you know children who would love to play sports, but whose parents don't have the resources? Then sign up as an intermediary. As an intermediary, you'll be the link between the two. You can quickly and easily apply online via this link. Whether children want to play soccer, guitar, hockey, or hip-hop, it doesn't matter. Once the application is approved, the membership fee or tuition will be paid directly to the sports club or cultural institution.

New rules of the game
The board of the Youth Fund Sport & Culture Almere is pleased to announce that the application rules have been amended.
We've received requests from various sports and cultural providers to address the fees that haven't been adjusted since 2017. We've agreed with the municipality to implement this adjustment on April 1, 2021.
The most important change is that the reimbursement for Sports and Culture applications has been increased to a new maximum invoice amount for the contribution.
You can find the new rules of the game on our website.
