Musical star Brigitte Heitzer ambassador for the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture
Musical star Brigitte Heitzer will be an ambassador for the Youth Fund for Sports and Culture. Her motivation? Making music, singing, or dancing contributes to children's personal development. All children should have access to some kind of musical activity, even if there's no money at home.
Brigitte's big breakthrough came after winning the TV show "In Search of Evita." "Music is my life, my outlet. It makes me so happy and I'm so glad I was able to make it my profession."
Now that I have children of my own, I see how important music is.
Brigitte: "Now that I have children of my own, I see how important music is. They respond instantly to music, even babies in the womb. Even if you're not feeling well, music can help. It's such a shame that music lessons at school are no longer a given; children have to take music lessons outside of school, which costs money. That's why I'm happy to be an ambassador for the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture. They ensure that children, even when there's no money at home, can still participate and have the same opportunities as their peers. A wonderful cause to support!"
