Culture@CruyffCourts during Cruyff Foundation Open Day
The Cruyff Foundation's annual Open Day is on Wednesday, September 18th. This year, hundreds of children will be participating in Cultuur@CruyffCourts. Cultuur@CruyffCourts is a project of the Youth Fund for Sport & Culture in collaboration with the Cruyff Foundation. At 14 Cruyff Courts throughout the Netherlands, we're connecting sports and culture. This way, even more children can enjoy the Cruyff Courts in their neighborhoods!
The children will participate in a variety of cultural workshops in the forecourt, including beatboxing, breakdancing, singing, and much more. The Open Day is the highlight of the first season of Cultuur@CruyffCourts. Next year, Cultuur@CruyffCourts will launch at 14 more CruyffCourts. project is made possible in part by the Friends Lottery and the Fund for Cultural Participation.
During the Cruyff Foundation's annual Open Day, the Olympic Stadium is transformed into a sports paradise for children with disabilities. In a single afternoon, 1,250 children will have the opportunity to try out various sports and discover which one suits them best.
