Sports & Culture join forces for Limburg children

The Limburg Youth Culture Fund and Limburg Youth Sports Fund share a common goal: to get as many Limburg children as possible involved. Currently, they support approximately 6,000 children by paying tuition/membership fees and (sports) clothing, equipment, and musical instruments. To help even more children in the future and to prepare for future developments, they are joining forces. Intensifying their collaboration through a joint back office, with knowledge sharing within a learning network, should ultimately lead to supporting more children in Limburg.

After Mayor Petra Dassen (chair of the Limburg Youth Culture Fund) and Mayor Sjraar Cox (chair of the Limburg Youth Sports Fund) signed the funds' cooperation agreement on Friday morning, May 10, the collaboration officially began.

The funds hope that by joining forces they can work more efficiently, gain more name recognition and thus enable more children to participate.
