Being a member of MHC Rosmalen is a normal thing for many people. However, there are children in Rosmalen (ages 4-18) who, due to their parents'/guardians' financial situation, cannot participate in sports. Therefore, MHC Rosmalen and the 's-Hertogenbosch-Vught Youth Sports & Culture Fund are starting an intensive collaboration, effective immediately.
Every child can participate!
""We believe it's important that every child can participate," explains chairman Mark Brants of the Rosmalen hockey club. "That aligns with our mission to ensure that as many people as possible continue to enjoy hockey. If parents or guardians are unable to pay a child's membership fee themselves, we offer financial support in this way. This is especially important during these unusual times when income can suddenly decline. "That's why we consider close collaboration with the 's-Hertogenbosch-Vught Youth Sports & Culture Fund very important."
Request a contribution.
The Youth Fund for Sports and Culture 's-Hertogenbosch-Vught is a foundation that helps parents pay their membership fees. In some cases, a voucher can be issued for purchasing sports equipment, such as clothing or sports equipment. To qualify for reimbursement from the Youth Fund for Sports and Culture, an application can be submitted through one of the Youth Fund's intermediaries. "Intermediaries work in education (for example, the principal, educational counselor, or gym teacher), at various community centers, and you can contact the Stichting Leergeld (Education Fund Foundation)," explains Jan de Leeuw, board member of the Youth Fund for Sports and Culture 's-Hertogenbosch-Vught.
Social cooperation
The organizations are entering into a one-year social partnership, with the intention of strengthening each other long-term. In addition to increasing sports participation, both organizations will also collaborate on joint fundraising.
