A girl in my class wasn't doing well in school. They were struggling financially at home. I, along with her parents, signed her up for dance lessons through the Youth Sports & Culture Fund. And what happened? She was so good that she was allowed to move on to a better academy. She even became the face of the cultural institution on their PR materials and website. What are you going to do?

• Strategic: contributing to policy development and actively contributing to governance
• Financial:
  • Drawing up (and having approved) the annual budget and annual accounts
  • Ensuring smooth financial administration and payments
  • Monitoring income and expenditure (realization)
• Optional/in consultation: supporting fundraising + coordinating grant applications and maintaining contact with grant providers

You'll receive thorough training from your colleagues on the board (a smooth handover of tasks). We use professional systems and formats, provided by the national headquarters of the Youth Fund for Sports and Culture.

Who are you?

You enjoy working together, have an affinity with numbers and are willing to invest an average of approximately 8 hours per month in the Youth Fund.
