Things were heated during the Zeeland Championship Panna-KO, which took place on Wednesday, August 13th, in Vlissingen. Young people from all over Zeeland had the opportunity in recent weeks to showcase their skills in the spectacular one-on-one football format where speed, technique, and courage are key. The winners of the preliminary rounds faced each other in the finals on Wednesday in Vlissingen.
The Panna-KO tournaments weren't just about winning, but above all about fun, respect, and connection. The panna—where you play the ball through your opponent's legs—brought plenty of cheers and surprised looks.
The event was made possible in part by local sports organizations and the Zeeland Youth Sports & Culture Fund. Thanks to the fund, young people who might otherwise have been sidelined could also participate.
