Vacancy: Business Analyst (32 hours)

The Dutch Youth Fund for Sport & Culture is looking for an enthusiastic, all-around Business Analyst (32 hours) to join our team. The Youth Fund helps children and young people from low-income families play football, dance, kickbox, and make music by paying their membership fees and tuition. Your challenge:
Within the IT team, you'll work closely with a Business Analyst colleague, the IT Service Desk, Functional Application Managers, and colleagues from 24 provincial and city youth funds. Due to the significant role of IT and the desire to work more data-driven, your input is essential to continue making progress within the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture. This could include digitizing the Youth Fund voucher for purchasing equipment or integrating the use of local city passes into the Youth Fund application process. You'll collaborate closely with our suppliers. Within the Youth Fund, we're currently using AFAS and Microsoft 365 tools like Power BI and experimenting with Copilot. By optimizing and innovating processes, you'll ensure the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture is future-proof. You'll also be involved in the following tasks:
- overseeing, analyzing, coordinating and prioritising requirements/wishes from the business and IT;
- project manager tasks;
- be able to follow and lead technical and business discussions;
- come up with initiatives, innovations or ideas from IT to the business;
- contributing to and thinking along with data-driven work;
- create and/or support the preparation of functional documentation; and
- sparring partner for the management team regarding IT issues.

- HBO/WO work and thinking level;
- at least five years of work experience in a similar role;
- experience in managing and collaborating with external suppliers;
- good knowledge of and experience in requirements engineering;
- analytically strong and performs well in a complex IT landscape;
- experience with Agile working and project management activities;
- able to bring IT and business together during discussions, such as communicating clearly and transparently about the (im)possibilities of solutions.
Finally, you recognize yourself in the following competencies: overseeing business processes, problem analysis, planning and organizing, flexibility and verbal communication.
