Toddler Fit Festival: toddlers and parents in motion

A brand new initiative will start in Breda in September: the Peuter Fit Festival.

This festival is free for toddlers and their parents/guardians and is all about moving together, exploring and, above all, having fun.
At four different locations in Breda, toddlers and their parents/guardians can get acquainted with local sports and exercise providers and organizations that promote healthy and active growth.

Movement is experiencing

The toddler years are crucial for children's development. Exercise contributes to good motor skills and a healthy lifestyle, and it strengthens toddlers' self-confidence. Exercising together has a positive effect on their bond with each other.

The Toddler Fit Festival showcases the many fun ways to exercise together. It offers parents/guardians practical ideas for home use and the chance to playfully connect with sports and exercise providers and professionals in the neighborhood. It also explores ways to remove financial barriers, ensuring every child can participate.

Dates, times and locations

The festival takes place in four neighborhoods in Breda, each time from 9:30 to 11:30 am:
– Brabantpark, Elandstraat Community Center (Elandstraat 10) on Monday, September 22
– Haagse Beemden, OC De Sleutel (Vlierenbroek 30) on Wednesday, September 24
– Heuvel, OC De Vlieren (Mons. Nolensplein 1) on Friday 26 September
– Hoge Vucht, Library (Belgium Square 4) on Saturday, September 27

Each location has its own program, tailored to its neighborhood. Admission is free. Registration is not required, but it is appreciated.
