Tennis Padel Association De Rijp donates generously to the Alkmaar Youth Fund.
The annual "Haring Padel" tournament, held from June 30th to July 7th at TPV De Rijp, wasn't just a sporting success. The club also dedicated the padel event to a good cause: the Alkmaar Youth Fund for Sports and Culture. Tournament committee member Richard Visch put it this way: "Almost all the tournament participants are doing well. That's why it's great to be able to donate to the Youth Fund!"
This allows the Youth Fund for Sports and Culture to do many good things for children who are struggling at home. Swimming lessons for children aged 5-8 are also covered. The tournament attracted participants from far and wide and was a huge success for the club, with a large raffle and party on Friday, July 5th. Koert de Groote from the Youth Fund was, of course, happy to accept the symbolic check at the beautiful TPV de Rijp complex. We would like to thank the donors very much!
