TeamNL Auction raises over 26,000 euros for the Youth Fund

Sports fans win unique Olympic and Paralympic items in TeamNL Auction

The TeamNL Auction took place for the second time from November 25th to Sunday, December 8th. For this online auction, TeamNL's top athletes donated unique items and experiences to the Youth Sports & Culture Fund. Most of the items in the auction were signed and worn at the Olympic or Paralympic Games and therefore have historical value. This was seen and appreciated by many sports fans, who placed a total of 2,247 bids on the 126 items and experiences, raising €26,157! 

The five items that brought in the most money: 

1. Pirmin Blaak's hockey stick: €2,000
2. Limited Edition TeamNL Gazelle bicycle: €1,400
3. Ambassador Sifan Hassan's warm-up shirt: €1,346 
4. Worthy de Jong's match shirt: €1,220 
5. Women's 4x400 relay athletics race shirt: €1,111 

Director Petra Bosman responds enthusiastically: “We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful proceeds from the TeamNL Auction and for these top athletes making their voices heard for an important cause: ensuring more children have the opportunity to play sports. Their dedication and example inspire us all to work together towards a future where sports are accessible to everyone.“
