Swim is Cool: discover new swimming sports after your swimming diploma

Has your child earned a swimming diploma? Then there are many more ways to stay active and enjoy the water.
With the program Swim is Cool introduce children to different swimming sports in an accessible way.
For just €2 per student Children from groups 5, 6, 7 and 8 can participate and discover which form of swimming suits them.

Children can get acquainted with sports such as water polo, a team sport full of action and cooperation, synchronized swimming, where graceful movements and music come together, and competitive swimming, where speed and technique are key. Also the Athletic Skills Model can be chosen: a playful way to develop motor skills that are useful in many sports. In addition, there is recreational swimming, where fun and exercise are central.

In addition to these sports, there are also regular theme lessons offered. An example of this is the theme The SeaDuring this lesson, children learn to deal with the dangers of the sea, such as swimming safely in a rip current and recognizing beach flags. They are introduced to the basic techniques of snorkeling and discover the underwater world.
With the help of VR glasses They virtually experience what it is like to swim among colorful fish and coral reefs and learn to respond to unexpected situations.

Another important part of Swim is Cool is Save your boyfriendThis program focuses on learning various survival techniques, such as wet and dry rescues. Children learn how to save themselves and others in dire situations. The goal is to raise awareness of the dangers of water and equip them with invaluable skills in our water-rich country. Expert instructors ensure this happens in a playful and safe way.

Conditions: participation is possible for children with at least a A-diplomaRecreational swimming is only permitted under the supervision of an adult aged 18 or older.
