Sports & Culture reimbursements have been increased!

Reimbursements Youth Fund Sports & Culture in 2023

The Youth Fund for Sports and Culture in 's-Hertogenbosch-Vught pays the membership fees for children and young people up to 18 years old from families who do not have enough money to participate in sports and/or culture.

Starting January 1, 2023, the Youth Fund's contribution for participating in sports or cultural activities will amount to the membership fee or tuition for an entire season, up to a maximum of €500. If the actual costs are higher, an exception can be made under certain conditions, for example, if the child needs this sports or cultural activity for a medical, therapeutic, or social reason.

Making an exception is a power of the board of the Youth Fund.

The reason for increasing the allowances for participating in sports or cultural activities compared to 2022 is the significant financial problems facing a growing number of families due to inflation and energy prices. Furthermore, sports clubs and cultural providers are raising their membership fees and tuition to meet the sharp rise in energy costs.

The Youth Fund for Sports & Culture 's-Hertogenbosch-Vught is able to offer this increase in compensation thanks in part to financial contributions from Miles of Pleasure Vught, BrandLoyalty 's-Hertogenbosch, Prins Hendrik Vught, Verkadefabriek 's-Hertogenbosch, Jumbo Supermarkets in 's-Hertogenbosch/Vught, the SURF cooperative in the Netherlands, and other donations from individuals and small businesses in the region.
