Current status of number of applications
We'd like to update you on the number of approved applications up to the end of August. Last year, there were 1,356, and this year, there are 1,513. That's an increase of 157 approved applications! We'd like to thank all intermediaries and sports and cultural providers for making this happen together. Here's to even more applications!

Start of a new school year!
The new school year has begun! This also means children are returning to sports and cultural clubs or want to learn to swim. Our vision is that all children and young people in Almere should be able to participate. Will you help us achieve this? Then take action for the Youth Fund! With our ready-made sponsored walk package, a bottle drive, a baking competition, or a children's art auction, you can get started. Everything is possible. Through our action platform You can create a fundraiser and find examples to make it a huge success! We'll use all proceeds, big or small, directly to help the children. Thank you in advance for your support!

National campaign: Simply Possible
At the start of the new sports and cultural season, our national campaign for parents, "Simply Possible," launched on Monday, September 2, 2024. During this campaign, we will inform as many parents or guardians as possible about the Youth Fund and the option to apply via www.kieseenclub.nl. On www.kieseenclub.nl Parents or guardians first complete the Youth Fund check. In four simple steps, they can determine whether the Youth Fund can potentially fund the child's club. They can then complete an online application form. The Youth Fund selects a suitable intermediary from their local area for the family. The intermediary then submits the application via www.allekinderendoenmee.nlThis campaign is being promoted through social media, but posters are also displayed at Scapino and supermarket chain Dirk. a new toolkit 'Simply possible' Available. Online intermediary meeting
Have you just become an intermediary or do you want to brush up on your knowledge about submitting a Youth Fund application? During the meeting on Tuesday, October 8th, from 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM, our coordinator Lindy Heijmering will share all the tips and tricks, and there will be time to ask questions. Register for the online intermediary meeting by sending an email to coordinator.almere@jeugdfondssportencultuur.nlYou will receive an agenda invitation as soon as possible.

Victims of the childcare allowance scandal (KOTA)
Reminder for the intermediary: We need more information for an application from affected parents. When submitting an application, you must make a note if it concerns parents affected by the childcare allowance affair (for example, if the application concerns a KOTA victim). Of course, these parents must also our rules meet their income requirements. You can indicate this in the application form. This way, we gain more insight into which families need assistance from the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture.

We warmly welcome our new suppliers in Q3 2024!
New sports provider: Hasselbaink Future Talent Sports (in Almere Poort).
New cultural providers: Messy Lab (in Stedenwijk) and Violin lessons Almere-Oosterwold.

Challenge Almere: all children participate!
The Almere Challenge was launched last year, and we're continuing with it. Youth Fund signs are already displayed at several schools and organizations throughout the city, but we want to expand! The Youth Fund for Sports & Culture challenges all intermediaries to take part in the Challenge: All children participate! Every step towards reaching more children and young people counts and will be rewarded with a top performance plateThe organization or school in Almere will be officially recognized as a partner of the Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur Almere (Almere Youth Fund for Sports & Culture). The sign will be placed on the outside wall of the location to show everyone that they can go there with questions about the Youth Fund. The successes achieved will be celebrated with a festive award ceremony on-site. The requirements for placing the sign at your location can be found here. our website. Events:

  • Triathlon Saturday September 14: Youth Fund banners will be visible along the route, and flyers will be distributed in athlete and volunteer bags.
  • Talent afternoon Saturday, September 21, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Almere-Stad library location): There will be a Youth Fund stall.
  • Open day CKV Saturday 28 September 12.00 – 17.00: Our banners/beach flags are visible and flyers are ready.
  • Poverty Week (October 14-18): In collaboration with the neighborhood sports coaches from Sport Professional, Talent in Training, and When I Grow Up in Almere, various activities will be organized on Friday, October 18th. More information will follow on our social media channels.

Tips for preparing invoices for providers
If an application for a child at your sports or cultural club is approved, you will receive an invoice from us. The invoice request will describe how the invoice should be prepared, as our invoice processing is fully automated. For fast processing, we prefer to receive the invoice digitally in PDF format. Always include the child's first and last name, the application number (without the "C"), your IBAN number, and the amount of the invoice request. Please ensure that the correct address for the Youth Fund is stated (Haagbeukweg 157, 1318MA Almere). Invoices can be emailed to: invoices.almere@jeugdfondssportencultuur.nlIf all the information on the invoice is correct, we aim to pay it within two weeks of receipt.
