Start (repeat) application for new sports season 2025/2026
As a Meerkracht (formerly an intermediary), you can now submit a (repeat) application for the upcoming 2025/2026 sports season. Please specify August 1, 2025, as the start date and July 31, 2026, as the end date. Children and teens can sign up for a workshop and learn to play an instrument or take a dance, music, or creative class. Children's Aid or Special Needs Fund Almere
Sometimes the reimbursement from the Almere Youth Fund is insufficient to cover tuition, membership fees, sports, or cultural items. As a Meerkracht member, you can request the remaining amount for your child from Childcare or Special Needs Fund Almere.
Youth Fund transfer from group 8 to the first grade
Attention Group 8 teachers and staff members: We ask that you note in your transfer to secondary school (Digidoor) which children currently have an application with the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture. This way, secondary school teachers will know that a repeat application must be submitted when the application expires. The new Meerkracht (More Power) department will then reassess whether the financial situation of the parents/guardians meets our rules. The Youth Fund has noticed that some children's repeat applications are submitted late or not submitted at all when they transition to secondary school, even though they are still participating in the activity. It would help us and the children if you noted this in your transfer.
A child can go on a holiday week or camp day through the Youth Fund
For each current application (sports, culture, or swimming), one holiday week/camp application may be submitted per year to the camp provider for the required amount, up to a maximum of €300. The camp provider must submit the invoice to feiten.almere@jeugdfondssportencultuur.nl, stating the child's name, application number, and ledger 5200. Camp applications are therefore not processed through our portal. www.jeugdfondssportencultuur.nl.
Explanation of the Choose a Club process
Via www.kieseenclub.nl Parents or guardians first check whether they are eligible for the Youth Fund. Parents or guardians can then complete an online application form. The Youth Fund then matches the application to a suitable Meerkracht (supporter) from the school or local area. If you are selected by us as a Meerkracht (supporter), you will receive an email confirming that an application has been linked to you. You can find this application at www.allekinderendoenmee.nl If you're logged in. On the homepage, you'll see "Parent Applications" in the menu on the left. Click on this to find the form completed by the parent. Then, contact the parent and review/assess the application. If they agree, complete the application and submit it. Need help with this? Please contact us at almere@jeugdfondssportencultuur.nl or 036-7601565!
Victims of the childcare allowance scandal (KOTA)
For an application from affected parents/guardians, we need more information. When submitting an application, you must make a note if it concerns affected parents/guardians of the childcare allowance affair (for example, if the application concerns a KOTA victim). Of course, these parents/guardians must also our rules meet their income requirements. You can indicate this in the application form. This way, we gain more insight into which families need assistance from the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture.
