From Passion to Stage 2025

Last Sunday, June 29, the DeLaMar Theater was bursting with energy, courage and talent during the performance From Passion to Stage, organized by the Youth Fund Sport & Culture Amsterdam. Over 100 children from our target group performed for a room full of parents, intermediaries/Meerkracht, and the fund's affiliates. They came from, among others, A'DAM Music School, THAT! School, Global Dance Centre, ISH Dance Collective, Platform C and Southeast Community Choir Young.

For many children, it was their first time on such a large stage. Exciting, but above all, very special. Host Cheyenne Toney hosted the whole thing and concluded with her song Sunflower, together with all the children who had performed. A wonderful ending to an afternoon full of talent, fun, and pride.

The performance demonstrated the power and diversity of culture, from classical string orchestra to hip-hop and spoken word. It not only inspired the audience but also brought together accompanists and sparked new collaborations between the various cultural providers. The aftermovie is in the works and will be available soon – a great opportunity to look back on this inspiring afternoon!
