Utrecht Student Rowing Club Triton organizes an annual Charity Week. During this week, they organize numerous activities to raise money for a good cause. This year, they chose the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture!
Triton's Charity Week was a huge success this year. With activities like an opening dinner, an auction, and a sponsored walk, a fantastic €7,483.63 was raised!
Kiki Schaafsma, Triton's External Relations Commissioner, and Laurence Koch, a member of the External Committee, presented the check to Onno Ghijsen Cohen, board member of the Utrecht Youth Fund for Sports and Culture.
"Sports are so important for your physical and mental health, I want every child to have that! And unfortunately, that's not a given for everyone," says Kiki.
The Youth Fund is thrilled with USR Triton's contribution! Thanks to your efforts, we can help more children in Utrecht participate in sports and creative activities.
