Proceeds from the COOP Zuidbroek & Muntendam deposit
Coordinator Martina Haak-Snoek of the Groningen Youth Fund for Sports & Culture received a check for €492.90 from branch manager Martijn Wever of COOP Zuidbroek. This money was raised by customers of both COOP Zuidbroek and COOP Muntendam, who donated their store deposits to the charity. COOP matched the amount raised. With this generous contribution, the Youth Fund can provide sports or music, dance, or theater lessons for at least two or three children for a year. This way, residents of the municipality of Midden-Groningen support children growing up in families facing financial difficulties in their own municipality.
