Allowances for the Youth Fund for Sports and Culture in Kampen municipality increased!

The Youth Fund for Sports and Culture Overijssel pays the contributions for children and young people from the municipality of Kampen up to the age of 18 from families who do not have enough money to participate in sports, culture or swimming lessons.

Starting January 1, 2024, the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture Overijssel's contribution to participating in sports or cultural activities will increase to €300 for sports and €525 for cultural activities. This includes any vouchers. The voucher may be worth a maximum of €50.

The reason for the municipality of Kampen's increase in allowances for participating in sports or cultural activities compared to 2023 is the significant financial problems facing a growing number of families due to inflation and energy prices. Furthermore, sports clubs and cultural providers are raising their membership fees and tuition to meet the sharp rise in energy costs.
