€5,200 raised for the Youth Fund at the Winterswijk charity festival!

With her benefit festival, Josefine van den Berg no less than €5,200 raised for the Youth Fund in the municipality of Winterswijk. Thanks to contributions from sponsors and visitors, this amount will be used to introduce children to culture, and possibly sports as well.

A wonderful initiative through which Josefine supports the cultural sector in Winterswijk and gives children new opportunities to participate. Although Winterswijk doesn't yet have its own Youth Fund, applications can be submitted through our regular process, so the money directly benefits children in the municipality.

Josefine explains why this affects her so much:
If there was one moment in my life that set me on a positive path, it was my piano performance at my father's 41st birthday in 1991. That passion has given me so much that I'm now dedicating an entire benefit festival to it, along with others. Because who knows, maybe one day another parent will receive the same message: 'Send your child to music lessons.' And I don't want money to deprive a child of that opportunity.
