How does it work for clubs?
Once the Youth Fund approves an application, an invoice request is automatically sent (by email) to the sports, cultural, or swimming provider. This invoice request includes the amount awarded for the child's participation in lessons through the end of the school year. Based on the invoice request, the club can send an invoice to the Youth Fund Sports & Culture (national finance department) for a maximum of the awarded amount.
Once the Youth Fund receives the invoice, payment will be made within three weeks. If the maximum reimbursement is insufficient for the club, parents will be required to pay the remaining amount. It is the club's responsibility to arrange this with the parents.
Meer informatie over het facturatieproces vind je onder ‘downloads en links’.
NB: Sports providers connected to the City Pass system can scan the City Pass number for reimbursement of sports fees for children with a City Pass. They will then receive reimbursement from the municipality. In that case, it will no longer be possible to apply for sports for that child through the Youth Fund. See the website of the Municipality for more information.
How does it work for parents?
Parents can submit a request yourself via our website with their child's City Pass. Need help? They can call on Meerkrachten (helpers). Parents with a City Pass are always eligible. Parents without a City Pass may be eligible for compensation under certain conditions. We have all the information about this on our website. See the page 'For your child'.
