Youth Fund Sports & Culture and ABN AMRO

ABN AMRO has a clear social ambition: to leave a cleaner and more equal world for future generations. Within this partnership, the Youth Fund and ABN AMRO are committed to a fair start and equal opportunities for all children and young people in the Netherlands.

For years, ABN AMRO has been organizing free sports and cultural activities through the ABN AMRO Foundation, specifically for children who don't always find participation easy. This makes it a perfect fit for the Youth Fund. We can ensure that children who have become enthusiastic can continue to participate by joining a club. In recent years, the ABN AMRO Foundation and the Youth Fund have collaborated on activities such as the annual musical visit, which includes a guest lesson in the classroom. Since 2024, ABN AMRO has also been a proud partner of the Youth Fund.

In addition to the ongoing activities of the ABN AMRO Foundation, ABN AMRO supports the Youth Fund in several ways:

• The partnership launched in September 2024 with Discovery Week. During this week, over 3,000 children from the target group were given the opportunity to gain new experiences, guided by nearly 900 volunteers from the ABN AMRO Foundation.
• ABN AMRO is funding and conducting a qualitative and quantitative study among the Youth Fund target group. This will provide us with valuable insights into the various barriers parents/guardians face when submitting an application to us.

• With the generous donation from ABN AMRO, we can offer more children a year-long membership to their favorite sports or cultural club.
