Now also reimbursed with Healthcare Allowance!

The municipality of Haarlem is providing the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture with more funding. This means that over the next two years more Children in Haarlem can help with sports and cultural activities. We're thrilled about that! As of January 1, 2025, we're expanding our target group from 130 percent of the statutory minimum income to 150 percent. This means we can also help families without Haarlem Pass will reimburse.

Unfortunately, this new regulation does not apply to residents of the municipality of Zandvoort.

To ensure that these applicants fall into the target group, we ask our Multiple forces (formerly intermediaries) to check with families without a Haarlem Pass whether they receive Healthcare Allowance from the Tax Authorities. Parents/guardians must do this with the More power (Someone from school or the neighborhood social team) with a bank statement or an advance payment order. Applying for the program is completely the same as for Haarlem Pass holders.

More information about Healthcare Allowance can be found here: What are the conditions for health care allowance? Also see our rules of the game for more information about applications.
