The 37th edition of the 4 Miles of Groningen took place on Sunday, October 13th. It was a sold-out edition with over 25,000 participants. Just like last year, the Groningen Youth Sports & Culture Fund was chosen as the charity for this largest running event in the North.

That morning, well-known Northerners and other charity runners gathered in Haren to run the Charity Run on behalf of the Youth Fund. In the weeks leading up to the 4 Miles, they had already raised a significant amount of money within their network and raised awareness for the fund. Wearing unique and eye-catching Youth Fund shirts, they were allowed to start directly behind the competition runners. Afterward, chairman Rob Schuur and national Youth Fund ambassador Erben Wennemars received a check for over €53,000 from the organizers and children's mayor Inez. This will allow us to reach many more children and help them become members of the club.
