The Youth Fund for Sports & Culture enables children and young people from low-income families to participate in football, music lessons, gymnastics, street dance, judo, swimming, or other sporting or creative activities. Are you passionate about supporting young people and promoting sports and culture? The Youth Fund for Sports & Culture Almere is looking for an enthusiastic fundraiser to join our team. As a fundraiser, you'll play a crucial role in securing funding to create opportunities for children and young people in Almere to participate in sports, swimming, or cultural activities.

Job description

• Identify, approach and maintain contact with potential donors, sponsors and partners.
• Develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns to achieve the financial objectives of the Youth Fund for Sports and Culture Almere.
• Writing compelling funding applications and sponsorship proposals.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential donors and partners.
• Monitor fundraising activities and report on progress and results.

Our organization

Our organization exists thanks to subsidies, funds, and sponsorships. These funds allow us to offer children from Almere a chance to thrive. The board consists of passionate Almere volunteers who enjoy working together as a collegial committee. The board is responsible for the fund's operations. Implementation is the responsibility of the coordinators and back-office staff of the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture Almere.

Desired skills and experience

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Demonstrable experience in fundraising, preferably in the non-profit sector.
• Networking skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Results-oriented and able to achieve objectives within set deadlines.
• Proactive and independent working attitude, but also a team player.
• Affinity with the Youth Fund Sports & Culture Almere.

Good to know

We are looking for a freelancer to accept this assignment. If sponsorship agreements are fulfilled, there will be compensation. No cure, no pay.
